WHY CANNABIS

In 2021, Fayetteville Road extended its agency services to include cannabis. Our goal is to build initiatives with actionable and measurable results for women of color (WOC) and their communities in this space.
WOC currently outspend their counterparts by +9x on skincare, haircare and beauty and are the leading consumers of Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) products – so, we hypothesize that as legalization continues across the US, WOC will become the leading consumers of cannabis products.
WOC Worldwide is driving equity, funding, and reform in the cannabis industry. Through our Canna Conversations event series, WOC can have a voice in the industry
OUR GOALS
- Leverage our community to conduct research on the preferences and behaviors of WOC cannabis consumers
- Curate events focused on bringing the community of WOC together in the cannabis space
- Partner on initiatives involving social equity and criminal justice reform
- Help to create diverse talent pipelines for cannabis companies
- Support expunction and assist with pre-qualification for automatic expungement (where applicable)
- Create job initiatives for cannabis-related roles
